Autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) is used both in masonry (in the form of bricks or blocks) and precast construction (as slabs or panels). Compared to precast concrete products, precast AAC elements can be manufactured only in small widths. This results in a great number of elements to be assembled, and in many joints to be filled and finished.
