Building with precast wall elements, also known as triple walls or walls with in-situ concrete core, is a tried and tested cost-efficient construction method in use for many years. The principal area of application is in multiple-story residential and industrial construction. The height of the wall elements generally correspond to the height of a story, in recent years, the walls elements are also increasingly used in civil engineering and industrial structures. These developments have generated a demand in particular for wall elements of great height. Die Höhe der Wandelemente entspricht dann in der Regel der Geschosshöhe, in den letzten Jahren wurden die Elementwände auch vermehrt im Ingenieur- und Industriebau eingesetzt. Durch diese Entwicklungen werden immer häufiger besonders hohe Elementwände nachgefragt. Wandhöhen bis zu 12 m sind keine Seltenheit mehr.
