Look Deeper: Understanding the Capabilities of GPR Imaging in Concrete

Concrete imaging with Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is one of the fastest growing segments in the professional concrete cutting and coring industry. Based on recent data, an estimated 350 imaging systems are sold to sawing and drilling contractors every year. It is not uncommon for a cutting contractor in a metropolitan area to own more than two systems and employ three or more trained field technicians. Most companies have at least one sawing and drilling operator who is also trained as a GPR technician, meaning the contractor can arrive on site, scan with GPR and commence cutting and coring operations all in one visit.
