Since September 1991, Richard F. Heitzmann has helped advance ACI's mission in many ways as a key member of the ACI staff. He retired as of June 26, 2009, from his position as Managing Director, Professional Development. Looking back on his more than 17-year career with ACI, perhaps Heitzmann's major achievement was his involvement in helping to make ACI certification programs the certification standard within the concrete industry. Most recently, he participated in the launch of ACI's new eLearning program, as well as the online CEU program.
