Central Concrete Named Supplier for New Santa Clara Stadium

Central Concrete, a U.S. Concrete Company, was selected to supply its high-performing, low-CO_2 concrete for the new home of the San Francisco 49ers, Santa Clara Stadium. Central was chosen for its ability to engineer high-performing concrete while using materials that reduce a structure's carbon footprint. They will supply an estimated 80,000 yd3 (60,000 m~3) of concrete for the auger cast piles and overall stadium structure. Central Concrete has also supplied materials for other green structures and sports facilities, including the San Jose Arena and Stanford Stadium.
