New President, Vice President for CEMBUREAU

Peter Hoddinott was elected as President of CEMBUREAU for a 2-year term at the Association's General Assembly, held in June 2013 in Vienna, Austria. After completing his mandate as Vice President over the last year, he takes over from Ignacio Madridejos. In addition, Daniel Gauthier, Member of the HeidelbergCement Managing Board, has been elected as Vice President of CEMBUREAU for a 2-year term. Hoddinott has served as Executive Vice President Energy & Strategic Sourcing of Lafarge since 2012. Previously, he held operational roles in Western Europe Cement, Latin America, and Southeast Asia for Lafarge. On his election as President of CEMBUREAU, Hoddinott said: "Being elected to serve the cement industry of Europe is a privilege and honor. I look forward to working with the whole sector to build on the foundations laid by Ignacio Madridejos over the past 2 years."
