Fast-changing Trade

As it has done for many years,the trade between Asia and the west coast of South America (WCSA) provides ocean carriers with huge operational challenges. These include the underdeveloped nature of some of the main WCSA container ports, and continuing cargo and equipment imbalances. But at the same time, with ocean carriers reporting high volume growth both northbound and southbound, the Asia/WCSA trade also provides them with major opportunities.
