New Far East/ECSA loop launched

The 'SEAS' service between the Far East and East Coast South America (ECSA) has been upgraded significantly, with increased tonnage and an addi-tional loop, to provide improved port coverage. K Line has joined the three existing operators of the weekly string: China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL), CMA CGM and Maruba. The nine vessels previously deployed on the SEAS service have been increased to 20, each with an average nominal capacity of 2,500TEU, 10 vessels deployed in each of the two loops. CMA CGM is providing nine ships, CSCL five, Maruba four, and K Line the remaining two vessels.
