Sophisticated bridge structures can be built with relatively little effort using concrete pumps and concrete distribution machines. The best example of this is the Hacka viaduct in the Czech Republic, which was handed over to the clients after only two years of construction work. In the northern part of the Czech Republic, the town of Chomutov has become a national convergence point for traffic in the past few years. A four-lane bypass is currently under construction in order to relieve the congestion in the town centre. It joins a dual carriageway that connects the industrial sites around Chemnitz in Saxony to the Czech capital, Prague. One section of this motorway is in the form of a 336m bridge over the River Hacka, a few kilometres north of Chomutov.
