Effective software testing improves the quality of the software system developed. Additionally, automated software testing reduces the cost, while increasing the speed of software development [1]. Several techniques have been used to automate software testing. Its effectiveness depends on a better understanding of the end user's needs that the software must meet.rnDustin, Garrett, and Gauf explain in this book, very clearly, the process of automating software testing. They begin by introducing the topic in chapter 1. Chapter 2 provides appropriate information about the need to automate the process. It points out the improvements it brings to the software testing program, including improvement in build verification testing, improved regression testing, and the enhancement of system expertise. The chapter also emphasizes the importance of improving the software life cycle, in order to improve the process of software testing.
