The tenth International Symposium on Locational Decisions (ISOLDE X) took place in Seville and Islantilla in Spain,from 2 to 8 June 2005.ISOLDE is a triennial conference which until now has been held alternatively in America and Europe.It attracts scientists whose research deals with qualitative and quantitative methods for location theory,modelling and planning.Location Analysis is an inter/multi-disciplinary subject which has attracted the interest of researchers in fields such as Mathematics,Operations Research,Management Science,Computer Science,Geography,Economics,Engineering and others.
