Cyber-Security Threats and Privacy Controls for Cloud Computing, Emphasizing Software as a Service

Cloud computing offers many benefits, including reduced costs and flexibility, which usually outweigh the risks, such as data security and privacy. When choosing a vendor, careful research and knowing a user's needs, especially utilizing the CIA Triad, is necessary. Though there are legal risks associated with cloud computing, solutions are available to mitigate these risks. To help keep confidential data secure, using a private cloud, with effective security and strict user control will reduce most security threats.
