Kindle bookmarks

Ebooks may not have the same appeal as their paper-based counterparts (you can't beat the feel and smell of an old book), but at least the bookmarks I use with them don't fall out whenever I go to read one. It's one of many reasons I love my Amazon Kindle . As well as letting me take my personal library with me wherever I go, I can add as many bookmarks as I like so I never lose my place. I simply tap the top-right corner of the screen, then the'+' button to add a bookmark on the current page or jump to an existing one. I can also mark sections using what Kindle calls 'clippings', which let you highlight text (the digital equivalent of a yellow marker pen) and make notes (memos added using the on-screen keyboard).
