Q The other day I switched my computer off by mistake at the wall socket. Until then everything had been working fine. However, when I restarted my PC I found that the drag-and-drop facility would not work on my Windows desktop. On top of that, all my desktop icons had shifted over to the left-hand side of my screen. I have tried online suggestions, including a registry hack - but to no avail. Do you have any ideas?
