摘要

In this study, a normal spectral partition detection technique was designed for enhancing the performance of spectral amplitude coding fiber-optic code-division multiple-access systems. Enhanced performance can be obtained by operating a signal partitioning strategy and a multiphotodetector scheme to reduce the effect of phase-induced intensity noise. A statistical analysis was also conducted for deriving the bit error rate of the system using the proposed method. Compared with diverse receiver structures, the spectral amplitude coding fiber-optic code-division multiple-access system using the proposed normal spectral partition detection method theoretically exhibited more favorable performance, particularly when an imbalanced code was used.
