MAN'S UK MARKET share is not what it used to be, and is falling far short of where MAN Truck & Bus UK MD Thomas Hemmerich wants it to be."In other European countries we're at the top of our game," he said, "but not in the UK." He thinks MAN's product line-up is "the best we have ever had", and believes the best way to get this message across to UK truck buyers is to get as many of them as possible behind the wheel. With this in mind, last week thetruck maker embarked on its largest ever ride and drive event, which saw 400 operators driving a variety of vans, trucks and buses, on and off-road at the Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire. But was it a success?
