Last week we reported that Maidstone is set to become home to the first of a new generation of purpose-built drive-through Scania dealerships. The new 2.5-acre Scania Maidstone premises, situated on the A229 just off junction 6 of the M20 and scheduled to open in January 2016, represents a total investment of E6m. It will feature five drive-through workshop bays and a DVSA Authorised Testing Facility (ATF) lane. This week, CM reports that building work on Rygor's new commercial vehicle centre in Gloucester is due to start in April.
