Advance fee frauds offer easy money in tough times

With economic times as tough as they are, people from all around the world will be delighted to know that the British Government is handing out grants of up to £500,000 that do not have to paid back - free money - to almost any foreign person or company prepared to apply. It's a con of course, another version of a 419 advance fee fraud that the ICC Financial Investigation Bureau (FIB) has been investigating on behalf of a member bank. One of the bank's commercial customers was contacted with the offer and requested further details.
