UK financial authority asks firms to look at APP fraud

THE Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK has published a Dear CEO letter addressed to firms asking them to look at how they are dealing with authorised push payment (APP) fraud. Together with the APP Best Practice Standard (UK Finance Standards), FCA wants firms to consider how they are tackling APP fraud within the context of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR).
