Hong Kong woman jailed for bribing bank employee

A Hong Kong woman has been jailed for bribing a bank employee staff with a watch in return for assistance in opening an account for her husband’s company.The 61-year-old was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment at the Kowloon City Magistracy after pleading guilty. A court heard that at the material time, the defendant was the authorised signer of a financing company which was incorporated in Hong Kong in October 2005 and acquired by her husband in May 2019.
