In recent years the CMC approach has successfully been employed in a wide range of problems involving turbulent nonpremixed combustion. Governing equations of CMC should involve models for conditional velocity, conditional scalar dissipation rate (CSDR), and conditional chemical source terms. The purpose of this work is to identify differences in performances of the available submodels for conditional velocity and scalar dissipation and to perform validation against recent measurement data for the piloted jet flame.
