Rs 1,400 cr allocated for 40 textile parks

The government has approved 40 integrated textile parks with an allocation of rs 1,400 crore in 11th five-year plan, parliament was informed. "of the 40 parks sanctioned, 7 parks have been completed, 14 parks have drawn 90 per cent of grants and 15 parks are in the progress," textiles minister anand sharma said in a written reply to the rajya sabha.
