Decolourisation of textile waste water

摘要

Water is the main source to sustain life on earth. Textile industry produces large volumes of highly colored waste released in the water courses interrupting many natural processes. There are many ways in which textile colored water waste can cause problems. Chemical, physical and biological processes can be used to remove these toxic and hazardous colored ingredients from the water. This review paper provides an explanation to the various methods available to decolorize the textile waste water, with examples.
