Egypt imposes provisional safeguard duty on imports of cotton yarn

The Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade of Arab Republic of Egypt has imposed provisional Safeguard measure/ interim measure of protection on imports of cotton yarn into Egypt. This measure is not for a specific country and for all countries who export cotton yarn into Egypt. It may be noted here that Egypt had in December 2011, Safeguard investigation on imports of Cotton Yarn and blended yarn (which fall under HS lines 52.05, 52.06 and 52.07), were initiated.
