Two of the things I regret: 1. Not seeing Frank Sinatra in concert, and 2. Not being old enough to have gone to any of the GM Motoramas (CA, April 2012). What beautiful cars. I left the wonderful and informative article on GM's Motoramas until last when reading the April issue of Collectible Automobile® as I wanted to savor it. But additionally there was a little surprise for me as an Aussie GM fan. In the photo split over pages 8 and 9, which looks to be of the 1955 event, and amongst all the zoomy and colorful U.S. concepts and production models I spied a Holden FJ-series Special sedan, looking as decidedly dated as it was with its split front windscreen and fully enclosed rear roof section.
