The Feminist Forum: Voices From the Field

The feminist forum examines some of the conflicting interests and diverse experiences that emerge from disciplinarity, gender, age, race/ethnicity, sexuality, and other identities. Considering that there are many different stories to be told about ITAA members' relationships with feminism, the authors invited the scholars participating in this forum to share their personal and professional relationships with feminist thought and practice. Contributors to the forum include Patricia Warner, Tania Hammidi, John Jacob, Antigone Kotsiopulos, Joan Laughlin, and Gwen O'Neal. Each author approached this assignment from a differing perspective and disciplinary and/or standpoint lens. The authors hope that the contributors' discussion of standpoint issues in relation to epistemologies in feminism and textiles and clothing will provoke further thought and discussion with ITAA.
