Failure by the Defendant GP to adequately assess the Claimant's symptoms and earlier history, and refer him to hospital to make a diagnosis of meningococcal septicaemia. As a result the Claimant developed severe complications arising from the infectious process, which would otherwise have been avoided, and a complete recovery made if diagnosed sooner
