Borut Medvesek is CEO and founder of Clean System, perhaps best known for its PCR-MS sealing pipe system. Sealing systems may not seem flashy, but it is these technologies that are the backbone of a cleanroom process. Without the nuts and bolts of an operation, the whole thing would fall apart. Before founding the company, Medvesek worked in various sectors, but always in close contact with the pharmaceutical industry. "I started as a student purely by chance and I had a good mentor, I must admit that the whole team was very good, so I had to learn quickly to keep up with the team," he says. I was fortunate to have worked in all areas from engineering to assembly and gaining experience, so I gained a lot of experience and knowledge which I am now using to my advantage."
