Business opportunities are on a high as the gradual legalisation of cannabis for recreational and medicinal products around the world paves the way for investments in the necessary infrastructure to grow plants and set up production. It has been estimated that sales of cannabis products could reach US$20.2m by 2021 and that global consumption could be worth $500bn by 2029. No wonder investors and pharma companies alike are tapping into this new segment of the market.
