CHEVY, GMC ANNOUNCE CNG AND LPG VANS FOR FLEETS

Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana full size vans fueled by either compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will be offered to fleet and commercial customers beginning later this year by General Motors Corporation (GM). The vans will have specially designed engines for the gaseous fuels and are delivered directly to customers with the fully integrated and warranted dedicated gaseous fuel systems in place. The industry commitment to expand the CNG and LPG infrastructure in key fleet markets was an enabler to convincing GM to introduce these models.
