Motor vehicles in New York City consume over 25rnmillion gallons of fuel per year. They are refueled atrn415 fueling locations, including three that dispenserncompressed natural gas (CNG). In addition, therncity’s NYC Fleet program offers contracts for fuelingrnat private gasoline and CNG fueling sites. A recentrncity law requires the installation of 25 publicly accessible electric vehicle (EV) charging stations,rnprovided that at least two be installed in each of therncity’s five boroughs. In February 2017, Air Liquidernannounced the siting of the first two hydrogen fuelingrnstations in New York City, with one in Brooklyn.
