Waste and resources provider Veolia has unveiled plans for an online app for construction waste, in the mould of Uber. Speaking at the Futurebuild conference on 6 March, Timothee Duret, Veolia UK's technology and organics director, said: 'If you are a manager of a construction or demolition site - and you have waste that you need to dispose of - you will be able to use the app to see which skip companies are available nearby to come and collect it.'
