Waste audit work wins award for BRE

At the recent Biffaward Awards 2000, the BRE Waste & Environmental Body (BREWEB) received a highly commended award for work on the Pegasus Court Waste Audit and Minimisation Scheme. The main objective of the Pegasus Court project was to map the type, amount, and cause of waste arising on the site. This information gives a benchmark for waste production on housing projects and provides the basis for actions to be taken to minimise waste.
