Mitigating the environmental and social impact of property development is often seen as difficult and expensive. This view is probably most widely held in the logistics property sector where margins are comparatively low and occupiers are looking for the cheapest deal. Gazeley, one of Europe's leading logistics property developers has this year announced the results of a EUD1 m two year research and development project. The result - EcoTemplate- is a framework for developing environmentally and socially responsible warehousing that can be implemented at low cost across Europe.
