French To Build The Biggest

Europe's largest new mechanical biological treatment plant for processing organic waste to compost is being built in Lille,France.Designed to treat 108 000 tonnes of biowaste per year from the city's markets,restaurants,kerbside and green waste collections,it will feature 22 composting tunnels and will have the capacity to utilise the gas generated for energy purposes.
