Veolia To Mine Road Sweepings For Precious Materials

Veolia Environmental has revealed an ambitious strategy that will see it mine precious metals from the dust and residue accumulated via road sweeping. Veolia currently has waste contracts in around 40 towns and cities across the UK, and its is hoping that through its street sweeping initiative it will be able open three further waste facilities that will be able to extract the precious metals.
