We need to start with some background. Now there's another one: hydrogen fuel cell technology to reduce exhaust pollution. You could say that Jeff Stock likes to do things his way, and one of those "ways"is to display some original thinking. After all, it's his company so he doesn't have to get his plans passed by some remote corporate board of directors. And I guess yet another is to have a firm, but steady, grip over company expansion - after all, growing too fast to meet demand could have so easily ended in disaster when the banking crisis hit. "I'd rather build 500 of the best sweepers in the business than 1,000 mediocre ones," he suggests.
