Olympiastadion Kiew

摘要

Kiev's Nazionalnyj sportywnyj komplex (NSK) «Olimpij-skyj» in Ukraine, elsewhere known as the Olympic Stadium Kiev, will be the location of the European Football Cup 2012's final in Poland and Ukraine. The stadium whose history has started as early as in 1914 will be reconstructed completely for this major sport event. Amongst others, a new roof will be installed. This essay will present and describe this new and innovative roof design in detail. Particular attention is paid to the textile part which consists of fabrics, foils and cables. The loads which have to be applied and the specific geometry lead to the need of large tests in the scale of 1:1., which are essential to choose and specify the right material. Some particular architectural design decisions, mainly the high number of radial segments (80) and the combination of translucent fabric and transparent foils, will result in a unique appearance of the new roof. This will affect the perception of the new stadium significantly.%Der Nazionalnyj sportywnyj komplex (NSK) «Olimpijskyj», in Deutschland als Olympiastadion Kiew bekannt, ist als Ort des Endspiels der Fußball-Europameisterschaft 2012 in Polen und der Ukraine vorgesehen. Das Stadion, das seit Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts eine wechselvolle Geschichte erlebt hat, wird für dieses Großereignis komplett umgebaut und bekommt u.a. ein neues Dach. Im vorliegenden Aufsatz wird diese neue und innovative Dachkochkonstruktion im Detail beschrieben, wobei besonderes Augenmerk auf den Membranteil gerichtet wird.
