Die Kraftwerke Linth-Limmern AG (KLL), ein Partnerunternehmen der Axpo AG und des Kanton Glarus, realisiert zurzeit das Projekt «Linthal 2015». Ein neues, unterirdisch angelegtes Pumpspeicherwerk soll Wasser aus dem Limmernsee in den 630 m höher gelegenen Muttsee zurückpumpen und bei Bedarf wieder zur Stromproduktion genutzt werden. Das neue Werk soll eine Pump- und Turbinenleistung von je 1'000 MW aufweisen [1].Zur Realisierung dieses über zwei Mrd. Schweizer Franken teuren Projektes hat die Bauherrschaft verschiedene Baulose ausgeschrieben. In diesem Rahmen hat die Arbeitsgemeinschaft Kraftwerk Limmern (AKWL), bestehende aus den Schweizer Bauunternehmungen Marti und Toneatti, den Zuschlag des größten Bauloses erhalten. Dieses beinhaltet alle Rohbauarbeiten an Triebwasserstollen und Kavernenanlagen, sowie den Bau der Staumauer Muttsee. Das Baulos wurde 2009 mit knapp 700 Mio. CHF vergeben. Das Bauprogramm sieht eine Erstellung von 2009 bis 2016 vor. Bis Mitte 2012 konnten die Vortriebsarbeiten weitgehend abgeschlossen werden und die Baustelle ging in die Betonierphase über. Dieser Artikel befasst sich mit dem Auftrag Los A2, den speziellen Herausforderungen, der Organisation der Bauphase, Installation und Vortrieb aus der Sicht des Unternehmers. The new pumped storage facility is being created inside a mountain and water will be pumped upwards through around 630m from the lower Lake Limmern up to the higher Lake Mutt, from where it will be fed through two headrace tunnels to generate electricity as required. The new hydro-electric plant should guarantee a pump and turbine output of 1,000MW respectively [1]. To realise the project with a value of over two billion Swiss francs, the Swiss energy group invited tenders for various different lots. The Kraftwerk Limmern Joint Venture (AKWL), consisting of Swiss Marti and Toneatti construction companies, was appointed the contract for the largest lot. This involves all excavation work onrnaccess and water tunnels and caverns, as well as the building of the Lake Mutt dam. The lot was awarded in 2009 with a total value of 700 million Swiss francs. In keeping with the building programme, construction will take place 2009 to 2016. By the middle of 2012 excavation work was, to a great extent, completed and the site advanced to the concrete lining stage.
