Evaluation of the new VOB/A version from a competitive perspective

In April 2016, a new version of the VOB/A was adopted after a new European directive for the award of public construction contracts had been enacted in 2014. The present contribution examines some of the new regulations of VOB/A and shows that these are partly contrary to the objectives pursued with the revision.
