Reaching toward The Heavens

The design objective of the Burj Khalifa, in Dubayy (Dubai), was not simply to create the world's tallest building; it was also to cre- ate a building that would embody the world's highest aspirations. Such a project goal, by necessity, required pushing the current ana- lytical, material, and construction technologies to new heights, both literally and figuratively.
