Praetor 500, $16,995 million; Praetor 600, $20,995 million. Both are estimates in 2020 U.S. dollars. Design Features. The Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 had approximately 95 percent commonality. The two aircraft shared the same wing and fuselage cross-section. The fuselage was circular in shape. The swept wing was mounted low on the fuselage. The 500 was some 3.5 feet longer than the 450. Composite materials accounted for approximately 20 percent of the structure of the two aircraft, and were mainly confined to secondary structures. The aircraft had tricycle type landing gear. Both the 450 and 500 were powered by twin Honeywell HTF7500E turbofan engines. Honeywell also supplied nacelles, thrust reversers, the 36-150 auxiliary power unit (APU), the air-conditioning pack, the cabin management system, and electronic fuel controls.
