摘要

More than 8,200 information security executives responded to "The Global State of Information Security 2005," a worldwide survey of information security leaders conducted by CIO and PricewaterhouseCoopers. The results indicate (among other things) that security, regarded as a short-term tactical problem, is still being driven by incidents and threats, while a strategic approach that would be proactive and value-oriented remains lacking; that the monitoring of employees is increasing geometrically; that government regulations are having very little impact on security practices; and that the finance industry is miles ahead of everyone else when it comes to security.
