Tri-dimensionally continuous network reinforced metal-matrix composite and its manufacturing method

摘要

A new type of tri-dimensionally continuous network reinforced metal-matrix composite was proposed and an effective manufacturing method advanced. By employing the SHS reaction of Al-TiO_2-C system and vacuum high pressure infiltration technique, the making of this type of metal-matrix composite has been thoroughly studied. Emphasis was placed on the lay of the formation of interconnected porous network structure in the SHS reaction products.
