摘要

Hydrogen index (HI) analysis has been extensively applied in the research on the characteristics of oil source rock, and can be used as an index to evaluate lake environment due to its advantages of less analytic amount, quickness and cheapness, and good result has been obtained. According to HI of sedimentary organic matter, TOC and its δ~(13)C of RH core, the environmental significance indicated by HI is discussed. The RH core(33°54'N and 102°32'E, 3400m a. s. l.) in the Zoige Basin was finished in July, 1992, with a total headway of 120.48 m and a core recovery of more than 90%. 494 samples were collected from it.
