Interrupted aortic arch diagnosed by ECG-gated multi-slice computed tomography angiography: a case report

摘要

Interrupted aortic arch (IAA) is a rare congenital cardiovascular disease with major intracardiac defects and always with multisystem non-cardiac malformations. It occurs in 1 : 10, 000 births, and about 1% of the patients with congenital heart defects. Therefore, it is important that we make a good diagnosis and accurate evaluation of their morphologic conditions before a heart operation. We presented a case of IAA diagnosed by ECG-gated multi-slice computed tomography ( MSCT) angiography.
