摘要

Pre-excitation optical storage properties and nonlinear mechanism in azo dye doped PVA film were studied by four-wave mixing, including dynamic process of optical storage and the diffraction efficiency of grating versus pre-exciting beam intensi- ty. A simplex energy level model was built up to explain excited-state optical storage mechanism. A fast decay of diffraction efficiency was fitted.
