Navigational bronchoscopy provides a three-dimensional virtual “roadmap” that enables a physi-ncian to maneuver through multiple branches of the bronchial tree to reach targeted lesions nin distal regions of the lung. It is designed to be used with a standard bronchoscope to nfacilitate obtaining tissue samples and for placing radiosurgical or dye markers. This article over-nviews this technology and the Current Procedural Terminology codes that have been created nfor its use.
