摘要

A series of protected diphenylalanine derivatives, diphenylalanine and phenylalanine, were coupled with monoaminoporphyrin through a peptide bond and self-assembled into spheres upon evaporation of a variety of solvents. A comparative study in solution and the solid state revealed increased fluorescence lifetimes for the self-assembled hybrid materials with conservation of the chromophore's electronic properties. These properties make them excellent candidate materials for disc applications. For more details see the Full Paper by A. Mitraki, A. G. Coutsolelos et al. on page 7213 ff.
