摘要

Galvanic coagulation is widely used to treat effluents, which is based on an iron-coke galvanic element placed in the solution. The difference between the electrochemical potentials means that the iron is anodically polarized and passes into solution without the application of a current from an external source. The coke is polarized cathodically.
